The Children are Coming (hurrah hurrah) – part 4

So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not
be afraid. What can human beings do to me?”

Humans are capable of doing a lot to you, and a lot to God.

The sadness we feel when we are alone is the same sadness that God feels.

The frustration when we try to do it right is the same frustration that God feels.

But God never feels abandoned because God as WE believe He will not be forsaken.

You are here because YOU do believe!

What can you do when you believe…

Your spirit will soar like angels holding God’s hand – you will fly.

“Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content
with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave
you, never will I forsake you.” (Hebrews, chapter 13, verses, 1 through 3, and 5 through
6.)

Our 3rd reading today is from the Gospel, according to Matthew,
chapter 25, verses 34 through 40.

“Then the King will say to those at his right hand, “Come, you that
are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from
the foundation of the world; for I was hungry and you gave me food,
I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink. I was a stranger,
and you welcomed me. I was naked, and you clothed me. I was sick,
and you took care of me. I was in prison, and you visited me.

Then the righteous will answer him, “Lord, when was it that we saw
you hungry and gave you food, or thirsty and gave you something to
drink? And when was it that we saw you a stranger and welcomed
you, or naked and gave you clothing? And when was it that we saw
you sick or in prison and visited you?”

And the king will answer them, “Truly I tell you, just as you did it to
one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to
me.”

Next up… The Lunch Date, based on a true story.
